SUBJECT:  ERROR E91-1C0 AFTER VERSION UPGRADE; NO RESPONSE TO POWER OFF SWITCH

DESCRIPTION

If the SD card is removed while upgrading proxy recording or wireless LAN connection functions, E90-1C0 may appear. In some cases, the camcorder may not power OFF when the power switch is turned OFF.

RECOVERY

To recover the camcorder when the error appears:

1.Turn power OFF and ON, if possible.

2.If the camcorder will not power OFF:

a. Disconnect the DC cable or battery that supplies primary power to the camcorder.

b. Turn OFF the power switch of the camcorder.

c. Re-connect the DC power cable or battery.

d.Turn ON the power switch of the camcorder. If the camcorder starts correctly and the error does not appear, the camcorder is recovered and can be used.

COUNTERMEASURE

To prevent the error:

1.Before removing the SD card from the camcorder or turning OFF the camcorder, make sure the ACCESS indicator for the PROXY SD card slot is NOT lit.

2.Turn OFF the camcorder, or disable the proxy recording or wireless LAN connection.

3.Remove the SD card.


NOTE:

When upgrading multiple camcorders using the SD card, pay attention to the ACCESS indicator light for the PROXY SD card; remove the card only when the ACCESS light is not lit.
