4002-4004 Restoration
- Original Beogram 4002/4004 units are completely stripped down, inspected, and rebuilt in our facility “approved classic partner shop”, starting from the chassis and mechanicals.
- Worn parts (belts, bearings, linkages, suspension components, sensor parts, etc.) are replaced or reconditioned so automation, tangential tracking, and speed control work to original spec.
Electronics and Upgrade Scope
- Power supply, motor control, and control electronics are serviced and updated; aged capacitors and failure-prone components are typically replaced for reliability.
- A modern phono preamp is added inside the deck, giving line-level output so it can plug directly into current B&O and non-B&O systems without a separate phono stage.
Cosmetic and Finish Work
- The aluminium chassis is refinished (polished and re-anodized) in a warmer “champagne” tone, (More Colors Black and Silver) with all top surfaces cleaned, re-brushed, and re-lettered as needed.
- The wooden trim is replaced with new hand-crafted wood (light oak, walnut, or other special editions), new dust cover replaced along with the metal strip.
- Paint, Plated base plate (black)
- Power and Audio Cable is replaced.
Connectivity and Usability Updates
- Output and cable arrangements are modernized so the 4002/4004 can integrate with current B&O networked systems and active speakers, often with custom cabling included.
- Speed control, touch controls, and sensors are calibrated, and the deck is fully tested and aligned with a new cartridge supplied as part of the package on the official 4002/4004 editions.
Note: We maintain the Original Serial number and the Model Number, these units are not called 4000c.
